Chrome paused a little. his vice-captain was rarely around and therefore reliable. but for once, he seemed to know what he was doing...
"Please continue... I approve of the plan. Please make sure Samantha doesn't forget Innana and keep close contact via gollems. aboard the mission as soon as you sense trouble."

Miko shook her head "You, me, Roma-san, Cail-nii-chan along with everyone else are one, Chrome-san, it doesn't matter who did it, or who should be credited for it" she put her hand over her chest "our motivation was to support you, how could you say that we did it fine without you, Chrome-san, when we actually did it to be with you?" Miko sighed, closed her eyes and paused for a while
"you barely have time to sleep, and even with that.. I know you'd never ask any of us to help you with it... that's why I did it on my own without asking for your permission over it... but I don't regret it, and I'm ready to face any punishment, but I know you wouldn't punish me.." she smiled "'cuz you have a kind heart like that.. "
she held his hands and looked at him innocently "will you please accompany us, Chrome-san? We need you.. I need you with me"

Roma nodded "roger" ...and after waiting for miko's comment to finish he added "I think that feeling goes for all of us, taichou.."
But then left the two to continue where they had left, checking up on the rest of the group.

was she had said.... was wrong though. She did not receive a kind reply or forgiving words.
Chrome threw her a cold glare. a glare he hadn't given her since years.
"Shut up..."
He pulled his hand lose and left the room.

Miko bit her lip, trying to collect herself together and not cry, but her eye eventually watered "Chrome-san.."
she grabbed his glasses again, and held them closely to her heart, curling up next to his desk, in the end; she did expect this reaction, but didn't expect the glare coming
She couldn't hold her tears off for long, and cried silently, she knew following him would only make it worse, he needed sometime alone
But how long? It was only one more hour left before they need to depart the house

Miko hugged her knees "I'm sorry.."

(Yeah, perhaps, but right now, roma's head is on the mission and on the wellbeing of the noah. Not with what Miko thinks. All he is saying is that he'd rather do the mission with, then without him. And Chrome could quite notice that quite easily too... if he wanted)

(Isn't that a bit overkill... Saying he wants him along, aught to be a good thing... *sigh* Couse that was afterall the thing he was agreeing on.. ==' )

(the conversation to chrome:

he was already angry, then filters out the things which upset him even more.... and to hear roma say 'everyone agrees' is a big bucket of oil on the fire.
honestly, without it, he would have gone along. but now he shifted the blame from miko, who was responsible, to everyone for agreeing to her.)

(I am sorry, but due to chrome's ability, he knows what Roma thought. You told me that time and time over. And Roma thought that the entire family wants Chrome along on the mission. I am sorry for the format. But really; the choice of 1. Roma wants, just as the family, to have Chrome along. Or 2; that they don't regret not telling him a word. If he really didn't. he wouldn't come and ask for his permission in the first place.)

(it's the entire point miko's making that pisses him off. he thought that at least roma would understand him, but he was disapointed that he didn't)

(Roma does understand. He was uneasy with this from the start. and as soon as they would have left, he would go and report. No matter of Miko's opinion. Couse then, it would officially become Chrome's responsability, and he'd have atleast the right to know what is going on. But miko went out of her own. So all he had to do was confirm if the mission was right with Chrome himself. Having permission, roma heared Miko's plead. And responded at the end of the sentence. The sentence saying Miko wanted Chrome to be a part of the mission. This is what Roma agreed to, and took the liberty to say that for the rest of the house.
It is quite unthinkable he's concurr to doing missions without his captains concent.
To what you told me, Chrome should have understood that....
I am sorry for ranting.. but If I wouldn't say this here, a huge, almost uncorrectable issue'd appear. Becouse of something which shouldn't have happened. And I feel sorry for miko now too. Having Roma make it worse is.... terrible.

(no, it's okay. but I still stand my point. if Roma was at chrome's side, he shouldn't have agreed on miko here.... chrome was hoping he could talk this over with roma, calm down and settle things. by roma agreeing to miko, he has nowhere to go with this frustration...)

Cail stood in the hallway next to Xin, fidgetting with his sword in an attempt to secure it to his belt in such a way that it wont get in the way while sheathed. He looked up and saw their captain. He smiled and walked towards him.

Ne, you coming wi-- he paused as he noticed Chrome's expression. You dont approve of this do you? Whats wrong? The teenager was genuinely concerned.

"......" honestly, chrome wanted to talk about it.... but the thing that roma said, 'everyone agrees', kept stuck in his head.
He looked off. "I approve... go on as planned."

The boy frowned.
Your mouth says you do, but your eyes and body language say you dont. Seriously Chrome, whats wrong? He moved to the side so that he was back in chromes sight. It was the first time in a long while that he had referred to the captain by his name.

".....hnrr" Chrome grunted. "aren't I suppose to be the mindreader?"
he avoided Cail's eyes, though. honestly, this was so humiliating.. trowing a tantrum like this while everyone's trying hard...
even with this ability of his.... left out like this... he felt lonely.

I can read people pretty well when i want to. he tapped his forehead, where the stigma was obvious. Part of the noah. Are you upset that we organised a plan without your consent? he tilted his head to the side slightly in question.

"With all due respect, I can understand that you are angry for keeping this a secret. ...But it looks like it that that's not all.. What is it captain?" He stood behind Cail. "I doubd we can put up a good fight without our minds being preoccupied like this. We'd be sitting ducks..." He looked serious, but calm.

Cail jumped slightly, he hadnt heard Roma coming
O.O! ..... x.x; ...... maybe we shouldnt gang up on him, Mom. That cant help the situation. x.x -3 .....

"Sorry Cail, but I don't think this is the right time to use that title."The noah spoke in a not often heared low tone. As he finished his sentence, his look shifted from Cail to Chrome. ...and he realized, that his captain wasn't pleased with him right now. And as his memory started to search about what the couse could have been, his look turned grim for a split second.
Unease shot though his eyes, as he mentioned "I will be out for a while, if that is allright.. Ill leave it to you then.."
The noah exited the room, and got himself some fresh air in the garden.
